Daniel
Levinson, Managing Partner, founded Main Street Resources after ten years with Holding Capital Group, a highly successful niche private equity firm and an investor in Main Street Resources. Dan received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a joint ScB in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University with Honors. He spent time in the Corporate Finance department of Morgan Stanley after graduating from Brown. |
David Schneider, Partner, joined Main Street Resources after spending time with Whitney & Co., an institutional private equity firm, MCG Global, a boutique merchant banking firm, and Price Waterhouse. Dave is a CPA and received his MBA from Bentley College and BS from Bryant College. |
Marc Rich, Controller, joined Main Street Resources from MetLife, Inc., where he served as a financial consultant for their Long-Term Care division, responsible for all P&L management and reporting. Previously, he was at LifeCare, Inc., an industry leading work/life services company where he was involved in a variety of projects that significantly expanded and improved the accounting and finance operations. Marc received his BS in Accounting and MBA from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, CT. |
Ellen Shaer, Director, joined Main Street Resources from a variety of long-term consulting projects at asset management and private equity firms. Previously, she was Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Martello Investment Management, a hedge fund of funds in the global macro space. She has more than ten years of experience and held various corporate finance positions on Wall Street. She has a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and an MBA in Finance from the Columbia Graduate School of Business. |
Carmela Iacobucci, Office Manager, joined Main Street Resources in 2004. She previously held an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President at Trenwick America, an Insurance company. Carmela graduated from Westchester Business Institute. |

David Hirsch (Providence, RI): David has decades of experience acquiring and operating middle market companies – most recently as Chairman of Vertex Distribution, a master distributor of stainless steel, corrosion-resistant and metric fasteners. David is a Trustee of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the chair of their Governance Committee. He is also a director of Citizens Bank of Rhode Island and Connecticut and Chair of the Rhode Island Foundation. |
Steve Stillerman (Greenwich, CT): Steve has been a principal investor for more than 25 years – acquiring and operating middle market manufacturing and distribution companies. Steve was the founder of Westfield Capital, an investment firm that had controlling interests in numerous manufacturing and distribution businesses including Candle Corporation of America, Delaware Valley Products, S&L Plastics, RMA/Kolko, Ziff, and National Home Products. Steve is the past Chairman of Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT. |
Operating Committee Members |
Main Street’s management team works very closely with a small group of long-standing investors and operating partners, comprising the firm’s Operating Committee. Meetings are held monthly during which all major actions and decisions of the firm are addressed, with particular attention to investment decisions and portfolio value creation. Every Main Street portfolio company has at least one Member overseeing it. Members of this committee have generally worked with Dan for 10-20 years in this or similar capacity and are highly committed to the success and mission of the firm. They are also a very dedicated group involved in many nonprofit organizations where their business skills and resources create tremendous good. |
Rainer Bosselmann (Dickerson, MD): Rainer has acquired and operated dozens of companies over decades - creating tremendous value generally in the small-cap consolidation area. He is the Chairman of Argan, Inc. (AMEX: AGX), a public holding company with multiple operating businesses primarily focused on specialty infrastructure construction services within the energy and telecommunications sectors. Rainer was previously the Chairman of Arguss Communications (formerly NYSE: ACX) and Jupiter National (formerly AMEX:JPI). |
Tom Hardy (New York, NY): Tom spent 15 years with McKinsey and Company and then 15 years building Trans-Resources Inc. from a small company into a $500 million multinational manufacturer and distributor of specialty plant nutrients, industrial chemicals and organic chemicals. Tom is a member of the board of Golfsmith International Inc., a multi-channel specialty retailers of golf equipment; an investor and advisor to the board of Aesthera Corporation, an early-stage laser company, an investor and board member of Valam Inc., an early stage medical device company and an operating partner of First Atlantic, a private equity firm. |
Tim Healy (New York, NY): Tim has been a sponsor and principal investor of middle market private equity investments since 1980, leading 50+ transactions during that time. Tim is a member of the Board of Directors of Star-Glo Industries, Inc. and Da-Tech Corporation. |
Scott Korman (Englewood, NJ): Scott has been a sponsor of middle market private equity transactions for 20+ years. Recently, Scott has transformed himself into an operator of larger businesses. Deann Murphy (New Rochelle, NY): Deann is founder and CEO of Craft Click, a consulting and product development company. Cynthia Flanders (Kensington, MD): Cindy held a series of positions of increasing responsibility with Bank of America and its predecessor organizations for over 30 years. Most recently, she served as the Global Commercial Banking Executive for the Bank's Mid-Atlantic Region. Cindy received a BS degree from the University of Maryland, RH Smith School of Business, graduating summa cum laude, and a MBA, also from the RH Smith School of Business. |
