Resources Acquires Artex International |

Private equity firm Main Street Resources, headquartered in
Westport, announced the acquisition of Artex International Inc.
by its portfolio company, Best Manufacturing Group LLC, based
in New Jersey. Artex, founded in 1933 and headquartered in Highland,
Illinois, is a manufacturer and supplier of textiles and garments
for the U.S. textile rental and hospitality markets. Main Street
Resources is a private investment firm that provides equity
capital for small and middle market companies to fund growth,
aquisitions, management buyouts and select turnarounds. The
addition of Artex’s strong west coast presence and broad
international sourcing capabilities strengthens Best’s
position in the textile rental industry.
